Jon Lord always wanted a studio recording of the concerto. He finalized his very last mission - the first and only studio recording of the famous Concerto For Group And Orchestra. Lord assembled guest musicians such as Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson, Joe Bonamassa and Steve Morse in the Abbey Road Studios, to work with his trusted partner, director Paul Mann, on the 2012 version of the legendary concert. The studio recording of Concerto For Group And Orchestra will now become Jon Lord's legacy for generations to come. Jon passes from darkness to light says the sober announcement from his family.

Discovering Music is a documentary series that explores the 20th century`s most interesting musicians.

Tells about the everyday life of the military music orchestra. The most difficult thing is to play a parade concert or “defile”. A defile is when military musicians play a march in motion, without straying from a clear marching step, or from the rhythm, without violating the strict musical pattern. For a professional, this is not so difficult to do, but how did an orchestra from a generally ordinary military unit manage to do this?

The main characters are two graduates of a music school, gifted violinists. Andrei is ambitious, able-bodied, absorbed in the desire to achieve recognition. The other is Ladya Bragin, simple and reckless. On the day of the exam at the conservatory, he meets a girl who works as a clown, and immediately decides to stay in the circus. The creative successes of the heroes do not immediately and not simply take shape. Their will, their conviction of a calling, are severely tested. And yet both come to understand what happiness music can give and how much it demands from a musician...

A story about a heartbroken young man who's life is reduced to microwave meals, old sitcom re-runs and endless cubicle work. One day, on his ferry ride to work in New York City, he meets a girl who slowly starts to put the color back inside of his world.
